Great Britton rules the waves!

Event number 12 in the Beech House Dental Practice Time Trial League was the 2-loop circuit from Milby to Cundall, Norton-le-Clay and back.
The weather was very wet, around 16 degrees Celsius with a light breeze coming from the north.
9 riders from Harrogate Nova and Moonglu set off at 1-minute intervals, braving the heavy rain, deep puddles, front wheels creating bow waves through the water.
Last week, Abi Smith took the top honours. This week, it was the turn of her partner Jonny Britton (Moonglu) who was fastest on the night in 40:47, breaking the men’s senior road bike record. In 2nd place was Duncan Mullier (Nova) on a time trial bike in 41:25 with Rob Senior (Nova) in 3rd in a time of 42:31 breaking the vets road bike record.
