Abi is fastest overall!

Event number 11 in the Beech House Dental Practice Time Trial League was a bespoke course again due to road works. Riders had already ridden this course when event number 7 had to be re-routed, so it was an opportunity for some to better their previous times.
The 14-mile course started from Arkendale Lane end, heading north on the A168, turning at Kirby Hill roundabout before retracing the route south to Braimbar Lane where riders take a left heading east past Marton-cum-Grafton and towards the B6265 to go north again towards Boroughbridge, finishing the event with a left onto Chapel Hill in the direction of the new housing estate and the finish.
The weather was mild with a light wind from the west – good conditions hence some fast times on the night. 14 riders signed on from Harrogate Nova and Moonglu.
Duncan Mullier (Nova) was first male in a time of 32:07 on a time trial bike. In 2nd place was Roger Bromiley (Nova) 33:19 on a time trial bike with junior Denholm Edwards (Moonglu) in 3rd place and just 1 second behind in a fantastic time of 33:20, on a road bike.
Professional female rider Abi Smith of EF Education-TIBCO-SVB and Moonglu put in a storming time of 31:59 to be fastest rider overall, on the night.
