Cold Conditions!

Event number 2 in the Ceta Form Time Trial League 2026 was a repeat of the previous week on the V212 A168 10-mile course. Could riders improve their times from week 1?

It was a dry evening, but bitterly cold…arm warmers were a must!

20 riders signed on from Harrogate Nova and Moonglu. This week there were more riders on road bikes, as opposed to TT bikes.

Denholme Edwards (Nova) recorded 20:34 on a TT bike to take 1st position - an identical time to last week. Tom Ward (Moonglu) was 2nd in 21:38 on a TT bike with Sam Straw 3rd in 21:43, also on a TT bike.

Back from a solid training block in Mallorca, Andrew Wild (Nova) took the road bike win in 23:27, closely followed by Tom Rowlay (Nova) 23:34 with Rob Senior (Nova) in 23:36.

Erin Denwood (Nova) was 1st lady in 27:53 on a road bike with Joanne Wallace 2nd lady in 29:16.

Sam Straw (Nova) was most improved rider.

Paul Coyle broke the RV60 record in 25:24.

Thanks to Margaret & Vaughan Caswell, James Boddy, Roger Bromiley and Duncan Mullier for ensuring the event took place on the night.

Next week’s event is the Roecliffe 10m on the A168.
