Ben blitzes the record!

The 7th event in the Ceta Form Time Trial League was the 25 miler on the A168 near Boroughbridge. The route starts from Boroughbridge, heading south to Walshford where the riders turn and head north all the way up to Dishforth before turning round and heading south to the finish at the Roecliffe roundabout.

The weather was hot and sunny with a light westerly wind. 6 riders from Harrogate Nova and Moonglu took to the start line, on a mix of TT bikes and road bikes.

Ben Pease (Moonglu) was first in a time of 50:49 on a TT bike, setting a new course record. In 2nd place was Roger Bromiley (Nova) in 58:40 on a TT bike with Steve Clarkson (Nova) in 3rd place in 1:00:55 on a TT bike.

Matt Wood (Nova) was fastest on a road bike in 1:02:14.

Richard Buckle wins the Thew Cup for most improved Nova rider.

The next event is the 12-mile Ripon TT on 25th June at 7.00pm.
