Mullier wins again!

Mullier wins again!

Event number 9 in the Beech House Dental Practice Time Trial League was the 12-mile route from Kirby Hill heading north up the A168 to Dishforth, turning west towards Sharow and then onto the Ripon ring-road with a left past Ripon racecourse heading east and thus returning to the start. Although the course is undulating, it is still a fast course.
There had been heavy rain in the late afternoon but in the end as the riders gathered at the start, the weather was mild with a light breeze from the south-west.
10 riders started and it was Duncan Mullier (Nova) who produced the fastest time of the night with a 27:01 on a time trial bike. In 2nd place was Neil Fearn (Nova) in 27:38 breaking the men’s vet road bike record with Roger Bromiley (Nova) in 3rd place in 28:11 on a time trial bike.
Thanks once again to Margaret & Vaughan Caswell, Duncan & Caroline Mullier, John Wood and Richard Salden for setting up, timekeeping and marshalling.
Event #10 is the 15-mile TT from Boroughbridge to Walshford roundabout and back.
