Tom rides to victory!

Event number 10 in the Ceta Form Time Trial League was the 14-mile TT with a 2-loop route starting on the A168 and heading via Marton, Aldborough, Boroughbridge and back on the A168.

15 riders from Harrogate Nova and Moonglu set off at 1-minute intervals.

The weather was very warm with quite a strong breeze coming from the west.

Tom Rowlay (Nova) was fastest on the night in 34:09 on a road bike just ahead of Roger Bromiley (Nova) in 34:14 on a time trial bike with Andrew Wild (Nova) in 3rd place on a road bike in 34:31.

Tom Bromiley (Nova) was most improved rider in 36:43 beating his last time by over 4 minutes!

Jo Wallace (Moonglu) produced a solid time of 43:05 in the ladies’ group and broke the ladies vets road bike record.

Next week’s event is the 18-mile TT 2-loop route starting at Milby, heading to Cundall then Norton-le-Clay and returning in the direction of Boroughbridge and Milby.
