Ben does it again!

Event number 11 in the Ceta Form Time Trial League was the 19-mile hilly TT starting at Ripley, going up 2 tough climbs Whipley Bank (Bedlam) and Darley Head.

12 riders from Harrogate Nova and Moonglu set off at 1-minute intervals. There was an even-split of riders on TT and road bikes.

The weather was warm with a light breeze from the NE.

Last year’s winner, Ben Pease (Moonglu) was fastest on the night in 42:19 on a TT bike with Duncan Mullier (Nova) in 2nd in a time of 49:38 on a road bike (with TT helmet) just ahead of Roger Bromiley (Nova) in 50:19.

Amy Henchoz (Nova) was fastest lady in 52:44 with Jo Wallace (Moonglu) in 2nd in a time of 62:13 with Sharon Smith (Moonglu) 3rd in a time of 67:55.

Ben Pease broke the men’s record. Jo Wallace broken the Lady Vets road bike record.
