Ben takes 10!
Event number 4 in the Ceta Form Time Trial League was a repeat of last week’s 10-mile route from Roecliffe lane to Dishforth roundabout and back, due to roadworks on the Pennypot course.
The weather was cool with a quite a strong south westerly wind which helped on the way up to Dishforth but made it harder on the return leg.
12 riders signed on from Harrogate Nova, Moonglu. 7 riders were on TT bikes, with 5 on road bikes.
Ben Pease (Moonglu) took the win in 20:34 on a TT bike. Duncan Mullier (Nova) was 2nd in 22:21 with Andrew Wild (Nova) 3rd in 23:12 on a road bike.
Samuel Mullier Nova) broke the schoolboy road bike record in 23:48.
Mark Turnock (Nova) was the most improved (25:18) over the last 3 seasons.
Thanks, as always to the volunteers on the night: Vaughan & Margaret Caswell, Mike Hudson, Tony Kent, Iain & Joanne Wallace, Roger Bromiley; not forgetting Duncan Mullier for producing the results.
The next event is in 2 weeks - the 15m on the A168 starting at Boroughbridge.
