Rugby World cup Final and another rain forecast day so NOW SUNDAYA big call out for members wanting a medium paced ride. I'll lead and bring a whistle to keep us in order. Meet Prince of Wales 9-00 am then to Knaresborough Texaco Garage 9-15 . Lanes to Ripon Studley Royal church Fountains Hall Sawley Bishop Thornton Clint Hampsthwaite (Coffee stop Sophies cafe) and back may be on Ripley cycle path . About 35 miles should be back for 12 with stop for regrouping . U16 with parents or guardians welcome.

Re: SOCIAL RIDE Saturday 26th October15-16 mph stick together
Thanks Mike. As chair I think it is vital that the club offers something to bring up and coming members through. My 16 year old has done 100 miles with me at a fair pace, plus he's going to be a coach for the club and the very least the club can do for the likes of him is to offer him a ride every now and again. I would hope that a large number of regular riders can support an occasional ride like this, to get it off the ground. Unfortunately, this particular day is when me (and young Matthew) will be on our way to the Cairngorms for some mountaineering fun, but we will look forward to the next one.
Come on support your club, join in and let's get it off the ground.

Good call Mike
Had I not already had plans to head down to London that day to watch the Six Days I would have certainly joined you with James in tow.
Hopefully the ride will be well supported and that next time I’ll be able available to ride out.
Cheers Rob

I’m interested Mike. May not manage whole ride myself but ideal pace for my recovery!

I’ll try and drag the boys out if they aren’t playing rugby.

Re: SOCIAL RIDE NOW Saturday 2nd November 15-16 mph stick together
in light of little response due to half term etc and now heavy rain forecast that i wont set off in, ill postpone and re arrange Saturday 2nd November
Re: SOCIAL RIDE NOW Saturday 2nd November 15-16 mph stick together
Please don't bring the whistle. It is up to those on the front when they want to come off. It got quite annoying on some of the rides.

I can make it now that the date has changed. Looking forward to meeting you all
