Hi Duncan

Just read your 'skeleton crew' comment. I'll come over to Arkendale on Saturday so if there are any last minute hiccups regards support I'll be there to do whatever

It went very smoothly and a big thanks to all the helpers and cake bakers. I got my seeding right with Jonathan Wears pipping Phil Graves by 4 seconds to win with 21:10 on what looked like a pretty good day. I've done quite a bit of racing against JW this season (never beaten him obv) and he's a good lad and on the same bike as me, so that's nice. He did 18:45 when I did my 10 PB of 19:03. I'm glad he won because Phil Graves turned up for his customary only open of the season a couple of years ago and won and I came second (grrrrr).

The results are here:

Off for a snifter and to eat all the left over cakes now.

Thanks again for another great Nova event. The cake spread is becoming legendary (top tip: if you contribute cake in tupperware, you then have a means of hoovering up the leftovers to take home...) I was pleased to get a PB - edging closer to Ms Bacon's time, but still work to do. Thanks to the smiley volunteers in all their different roles, and to Prologue for the generous prize funds.
