Hi Duncan, are we going with equal prize values for women again on this race? Do you know how many women's prizes you plan to offer. I think last time was 1, 2 and 3 plus 1st vet. It does help to get women riding, not because they are driven by the prize money itself but they like to support race organisers who offer equal prizes. There is a 'Ladies who TT' group on FB that Rachael Mellor set up that I can post in and I'll put something in the women's section of the TT forum as well as more general chatter on FB. Ele is more adept on Twitter than me so she could probably drum up some interest there as well.

If you can confirm the prize structure I'll get something out there.

Alison, the same prize list as last time, which is equal for women.

Thanks Simon.

I've put this as a global announcement now, as I'm not snowed under with volunteers and whether this event runs again depends on or ability to run it at all.

Via the wonders of twitter and some cajoling, I've got Mr Philip Graves and his pa to sign up :-) Although I believe he's just back from a few month's off with injury so am not sure he'll challenge his own record....

Thanks Ele,

we have 41 entries so far, so it looks like being bigger than the Open24 in March, but hardly anyone is volunteering. I know not everyone does TTs but this is a club thing. For example, I'm not particularly into clothes (in fact Caroline buys mine) but I'm the club kit man (and other things). Let's not rely on the same people, come on roll up, roll up (and a big thanks to those that have volunteered). If you can't make it then put all that watching The Great British Bake Off to good use (I've never seen it, but I'm given to understand it is very popular).
