You could ride out to Dishforth airfield and show off that killer sprint, racing starts at 11am, and goes on most of the day. Entry on line available

Hi everyone, back from York hospital now. Battered and bruised but nothing broken! Not sure on the bike though, need to go and collect that tomorrow. Thanks all for waiting and getting me out of the road. Hope Dylan's alright!!! Anyone know what happened, struggling to remember what happened between the cafe stop and ambulance??
Cheers Jacob
P.s hope the rest of your ride was ok!

Re: Sat 25th May head east POW 9-00am
Glad to hear you`re OK and nothing broken! What we think happened was that Dylan was riding next to you, he then started having a drink so just one hand on the bars. He then hit a pothole knocking his hand off the handlebar and he must have fallen towards you, then dont ask me how but the bottom of his handlebar somehow got wedged in your front spokes and that stopped you instantly and you were catapulted over the bars and from what Matt said your head hit the deck first without you putting your hands out to protect yourself. Thank god you were wearing a helmet. You were unconscious and motionless for 10 to 20 we think and then gradually started to come round but you were confused! It all happened so quickly and it just shows how an accident like this can happen on a seemingly innocuous stretch of road! Dylan is fine,a bit shaken up with some grazes and I think Corinne was more traumatised seeing her son lying initially motionless in the road! Cant believe there were no broken bones, the noise from the impact was loud!Hope the bike isnt too bad, one of the fork legs is snapped and the rear mech hanger was bent, hopefully the frame is OK. Keep us posted!
