Hi,
First post up here. I'm a Nova newbie, frosty's other(/better?! ;-) ) half, and a triafleet (shock!). Keen to meet up with some other ladies for Saturday cycles and get to know people. Planning a ~3hrs ride this Saturday along the lines of Harrogate-Pennypot-Ilkley-Boltonabbey-Burnsall (cakestop)-Appletreewick-Greenhow-Menwith and back. av ~25k/h. Does that sound like anyone's cup of tea (and cake)?!
Cheers
Eleanor

Just contacted my other half (Fran) and she's up for it. She's currently preparing for her first (sprint) triathlon and the Etape du Dales later in the year.

If you let us know time & place you were thinking of meeting I'll get her to confirm on here later (she's not registered on the forum yet). We are based in Hookstone area of Harrogate.

Thanks
Darrell

Fab! Why don't we say 9.30 at the POW roundabout then can head out via Beckwithshaw/little almscliffe road. Forecast looks ok once the fog clears. Happy to go earlier if you prefer - we just might need lights if it's foggy as bbc says it is to be.

Any other girlies?! Promise this will be a solid training ride, no mincing about. Av spd is accounting for the lumpiness of the route. I just can't quite stick with Frosty and his fast gang, and I also need to work my way through the cake menu at Burnsall - only been once so far!

Niall, adopting a pseudonym and pretending to be a girl is a bit extreme, If you want to go a bit slower and eat cake, just say so ;) Hmmmmmm, might just try that one...

I remember this time last year in deference to St Valentine, you were out beasting the Pennypot Circuit. How things have changed

Seriously though, this is a great idea..... no its not, if the wife is out, who looks after the kids????

Can you tell I'm having a bad week........... :?:
