Saturday 14th Medium Ride

Post by MCullen » Tue Mar 10, 2020 1:13 pm

Any interest in a medium, no drop, no snot ride?
Was thinking about either going out East on the flat lands or doing the Club Run and waiting at the top of the climbs if needed.

Appreciate there are different levels of ‘Medium’ so may be natural that the group splits if the numbers are large enough.

We started these at about 180-200w on the flat and I’m proposing a similar average.

Prologue 0830 start whichever direction we go.

Please let me know views and route preferences.

Michael, you beat me to it - I was going to propose the same so yes, I’m firmly up for a ‘Medium non-drop” ride - usual format, regrouping after hills etc.

I’ll be bringing Junior Beagley out again - he won’t hold up the pace.

Happy to pull a route together

Cheers Rob

Michael- by “club run” so you mean the classic ilkley, Bolton abbey, Appletreewick and back via Duck Street??
If so happy with that (or anywhere else for that matter c50+mile route)

Hi Rob
I do mean the classic route you describe or maybe in reverse, going up Askwith moor climb on way back.

I’m easy on any time but given it’s getting lighter, maybe we could get out a bit earlier so we are all back before Noon.

Hi guys, I’d be up for it but 8:30 won’t work for me. I’m down for a prologue demo ride at 1pm so will do that instead but keen for week after but 9am works for me.

Rich, I just randomly put in 0830. Happy to put down 0900 if it entices a pro like your good self out?

Right - 9 am roll out from Prologue

Reverse ‘classic Nova route’ - up Duck Street, Burnsall, ilkley and back up Askwith and Timble - Regroup at top of climbs

The weather looks dry so hopefully see a good group out

See you in the morning

Rob
