Hi All,
The Kettringhams and i are doing the Bronte K sportive on Sunday July 15th. Its 88miles with about 2600m of climbing, should be a good day out and on roads we dont often ride. There are still entries available if anyone fancies joining us?
Plan is to ride around steady............ yeah i dont believe them either!!!

I think it says you can enter on the line.
My calf is still a bit dodgy, so I don't think an mtb marathon is a good idea, so I'm getting tempted now...
If I came along, would someone be able to hold onto my good road bike for a week (and take it back to harrogate) while I went on holiday with the winter bike? Would quite like to keep driving south to wales after the ride and don't want to take the good bike on the back of the van!

I can now officially tell you that this is a tough sportive, with almost not flat roads in the 88 route!

Unofficially the flat roads were tough too.
I can see the next nova ride over to silsden direction...

Concur.... very hard sportive, no straight flat roads, all twisty and hilly...... Very tough but great.
You know its an epic when i had to use the "just leave me - i will make it on my own" line..... epic
The sportive has NEVER had a gold award and Simon, Greg and Nial were 1 minute of gold!! Next year we need to nail it
