Weekend riding plans July 7th and 8th

Anyone participating in a club ride, whether a club member or not, must abide by the Highway Code, ride responsibility, sensibly and respect other road users at all times. Please remember your behaviour on the bike reflects on the club, even if other road users don't share the same courtesy to you.

Weekend riding plans July 7th and 8th

Hi Guys,

Anyone think of riding this weekend? Weather doesnt look great but worst is currently forecast for tomorrow (Fri) and it should be warm enough. I'm keen for 2 - 3 hrs in a morning. (Weather currenty looks drier) tentatively thinking POW at 9 but happy to flex as needed. good old group ride would be good, havent seen everyone in ages! Post if you are keen

Sat am looks best of the weather at the moment. 2-3hrs sounds good, 9am or earlier if it suits others.

Mike, anytime suits me from 8 -10am, (need to be back 1pm ish). Any plans for route? Could meet Knaresborough end if no other takers, Mark

Hi Mark,

I think Wilbers is planning a ride to meet at POW at 8am, steady tempo ride. i think greg and a few others maybe joining. Lets meet then!

Yup, great ride today and good turn out. Really enjoyed it. Planning to ride early 8am (ish) tomorrow, prob 40 miles, Knaresborough-Ripley-Brimham-over the back and over the Moors to Ripon, pushing the hills, then nailing it back to Knaresborough (as fast as I can). Happy to be dragged round by any willing volunteer, post if interested.
