Sat 9th, sub2hr interval ride

Post by petewatson » Mon Feb 04, 2019 7:18 pm

I'll be heading out Saturday 9am to do intervals probably 4 x 5mins at Z5 (somewhere around 20min lower/pace) if anyone cares to join?

Sounds like good training Pete, but going to save my legs for Sunday's reliability ride.

Any idea when it's going to stop snowing??

Simon

Might make it out Sunday too but might be less useful after Saturdays session.

I heard it might ease off around May time Simon...

Coincidental but my plan for Saturday was 6x4min hill intervals. This sounds like an equally painful experience so I'm in.

Where, when and how?

I will probably ride my TT bike as I'm struggling a bit with the shoulder. It is likely to be on the road that must not be named but I suppose a lap of Milby would be a possible alternative.

In view of the forcast, which is 30mph winds with 50mph gusts currently, might it be an idea to swap to Sunday?

Yes was thinking the sith temple (168.) but coud do Milby. Saturday does look crazy so I think switching to Sunday might be on. 9am meet at end of beryl burton turn where it meets knaresborough golf club? We can assess weather later in the week if any improvement

I'll be at end of Beryl Burton where it meets KB Golf club at 9am tomorrow morning, see you there Mark, Duncan (know you aren't well so maybe) and anyone else.

Cheers
