Structured group ride Sat 12th August 2017

Hi all

I have to make a last minute trip up to Northumberland on Saturday so unfortunately I'm not available to lead the structured group ride. Can one of the regulars pick this up please? I can provide a route if needed.

Now that we've got a bit of momentum with the structured group It would be great if we could get a pool of volunteers for ride leader and maybe start to get a rides list going so that rides are planned further in advance and anyone who wants to lead a ride can do. If you're interested please post here or PM me.

tomorrows structured group ride is something slightly different

because we are heading out towards Beckwithshaw i'm proposing we meet at 9am at Prologue with a view to setting off at about 9.15am which should give everyone time to get there.

The format will be the same as they have been to date i.e. riding as a structured group. Post so I know to wait for you.

If people aren't happy with the route then feel free to suggest something else but do it asap.

Oops..... Change of start has thrown me. Would be up there way too late (even by my usual standards). Have a good ride.

apologies John. it was all a bit last minute. I only got back from Lake District yesterday afternoon.

only me and Harry Wrightson were out today. good ride though. strong headwind on the outward leg but we both took full advantage of the tailwind along Duck St and down into Hampsthwaite.
