Not really a club ride, but I thought I'd post here as a reminder to anyone who might have forgotten that it's the Almscliffe challenge tomorrow.
Details -
REMINDER - It is the runners v riders event this Sunday (23rd October). Signing on will be at the start on Winney Lane from about 10.15am. I will be at the Squash Club on Plantation Road from approx 9.30 (there is plenty of car parking space there and then ride up to start). You can leave any clothing in the back of my car which will be parked on Winny Lane during the event (I am timing the riders). There are refreshments available at the Sqush Club after the event (free of charge). PLEASE TRY TO ATTEND - We need to put on a good show against the runners and get the trophy back from them this year.

Great stuff. I think Greg, Tom & Rob B are planning to be there too.
Re: Sunday 23rd October
Well done all the riders. Great effort from everyone up the crag.
Re: Sunday 23rd October
Although not officially a race - it is a 'fun' event - the Nova riders took the inter-club trophy from the Harriers this year (this is based on a handicap system and the riders won by 9m 49s - 1st 4 riders and 1st 4 runners to count), Well done everyone
1st Tom Denwood 35.32
2nd Simon Ketteringham 36.39
3rd Greg Ketteringham 36.35
4th Duncan Mullier 36.55
5th Paul Caswell 39.43
6th Andy Holgate 41.46
7th Martin Shaw 45.58
Not an easy event when you realise it means leaving their bikes at the bottom of Almscliffe Crag and running to the top and back, before re-mounting to ride back to the finish. Thanks to everyone who turned out to give them a cheer on at the Crag. (and to see them grovelling up the climb)
