Hilly one looks good to me Dave. I may not like it but I do need it.

Not sure I'll be up for a hilly ride now - crashed today on Mill Bank and thigh really hurts out of the saddle. Will still be out tomorrow but on my 53/39 bike - not sure I'll be in any state to tackle church street in that!

Re: Club ride 22nd Jan
A good turn out today, without about a dozen riders meeting up despite the high winds. The group stuck together until Timble then separated to do different routes. We carried on over Westend then waited for Dennis.......and waited a bit more until we sent Rob back to look or him. Unfortunately he'd crashed on the descent and has a suspected broken collar bone.
In the new found motto of 'leave no man behind' we waited with him for a car to pick him up, and then cut the intended route a bit shorter, coming back through Darley and Hampswaite, then back to Harrogate where a couple of us went to Cafe Rosso and met up with the CCC boys.
A good ride out despite the crash and high winds. Quite hilly, which made up for the low mileage, and nice to see so many riders out.

Well organised Dave it was a good run my route is http://www.endomondo.com/workouts/hEvzioT83iI using an app that works for those to tight to upgrade from Symbian.
It shows we waited around for Denis for 50 minutes no wonder we were cold.
Mind you Dave with a rate of attrition of riders from 15 starters to 4 at the end I think you put the fast group to shame

Thanks for a great ride on Sunday, despite the conditions. Sorry to hear about Dennis' injury. I'm hoping to come along next weekend, is there another ride planned?
