Nova Reliability Trial - Sunday 1st February

Post by Margaret » Thu Jan 29, 2015 7:12 pm

Looking at the weather forecast the threat of snow looks less likely for Sunday morning so hopefully it will go ahead (it's been a worrying week for us).
I know a lot of Nova riders will be taking part - can I ask that you have the correct entry fee money £4.00, as I know a lot of riders will be turning up with £10 and £5 notes and we can only bring a limited amount of change out with us (after all we are only stood at the side of the road for signing on).
Your help would be appreciated.

My experience is that it sometimes starts a bit early, so best to get there just after 9. How about 8:40 pow picking up at 8:45 top of Almsford Ban? I'm sure Simon will say I'm too early (especially when I missed the meet last Week).

Hi all,

Don't really see the point in hanging around in the cold any more than necessary, so I'll see you all at the start. I'll probably leave just before 9am with a view to being at Rigton for 9.15 approx.

Si, I'm with you on timing, I'm aiming to set off just before 9am (got by 4 pound coins at the ready) to get there for 9.15am - forecast is 0c at that time and a nice northerly wind so not a day for hanging around. Should be a nice tailwind for the run back to Norwood!!
