Cyclo-cross training Thursday evenings 6:30 - 8:00

Anyone participating in a club ride, whether a club member or not, must abide by the Highway Code, ride responsibility, sensibly and respect other road users at all times. Please remember your behaviour on the bike reflects on the club, even if other road users don't share the same courtesy to you.

Cyclo-cross training Thursday evenings 6:30 - 8:00

With our British Cycling Level 2 coaching hats on, and due to popular demand, Rick and I would like to offer to host some cyclo-cross specific coaching/training sessions on Thursday evenings from next week 21st August until 11th September (4 sessions in total). This puts us well into the start of the CX calendar so we should all be off and running by then (no pun(s) intended).

Venue will be the same as for the kids coaching at Queen Ethelburgers Recreational Ground. Access is from Youngs Drive, off Penny Pot Lane, HG3 2GA

Please post here if you intend to come along, just to get an idea of numbers. We'd like to keep this for club members only at this stage, as one of the benefits of membership.

Ted

Good call, I will try and make some, can't do the 28th though, I assume all you need is a bike and helmet

Yes Tim, bike that can go off road and helmet. No experience necessary. No problem of you turn up late either, just join in.

Plenty of room, please do come along. It'll be a mix of skills and hard efforts, so something for everyone no matter what your experience level. The idea is that we can help ourselves and help each other to get fitter, faster and technically better ready for 'cross racing.

I might try and make it along Ted. Was chatting with Wilbers about it today and it should be good fun. I will be on my MTB as per usual. Baggie shorts, obviously.

Don't worry Frosty, we won't be applying the UCI regs too strictly, and may even turn a blind eye to peaked bike helmets (I said may :D )

Any other women planning to attend? I probably won't make the first two but will almost certainly be there for the others.
