Tuesday evening Group ride

Hi , Just wondering if you have a regular Tuesday evening group ride?

We used to have a regular penny pot circuit for chain gang on Tuesday at 6.45 something I am keen to resurrect this year. We had good turnouts and I think everyone enjoyed. Gets better when it's lighter but no great problems riding that loop in the dark either. I will get on it in February.

There are still a few who show up for the ride. I am there most weeks, as is one other fellow, and there are occasionally a few others. But this time of year, numbers are down, of course. Yes, 6:45 at the taxi stand. Hopefully more will start to ride with us.

I'd be up for night rides, although I prefer a Wednesday as I tend to run on Tuesday nights with the harriers.

Hi. I was just what pace is the ride run at? Would it be suitable for a relative beginner?

The pace is between 16-19mph! We are not crazy fast, we tend to group ride on the flat-ish sections, then the strong riders pull away on the hills; sunn inn and little almscliff- we break up a little. We always re-group on the tops though. Usually on, unless the weather is utterly miserable.
