Medium pace Sunday ride - alternative to Seacroft RR

As an alternative to trekking over to the Seacroft reliability ride I’m proposing a medium fast paced ride (but non-drop) Sunday morning leaving Prologue at 9 am circa 55 miles. The route will drop from Harrogate to Pool then up Blackhill over to Wetherby and then flatlands back to Prologue to hopef...

Re: Saturday 25th - medium paced ride

Sorry Rich, I’ve really enjoyed these rides but I can’t make it this Saturday. Jo is out for the day so I’m ferrying the kids round to the usual football etc. Sadly I can’t make next Saturday either as away skiing but I will be back out soon!

Got to keep this pace / inclusive ride going

Cheers Rob

Re: Saturday 18th Jan - medium non drop ride

I’ll be out again but without James this time as I he’s off with Scouts - he’s really enjoyed the last two Saturdays so is keen to do more.

As you say, it’ll be a good warm up for Sunday’s reli ride without smashing the legs.

Re: Saturday 11th Training / Medium ride

Nice one Wilbers

The only tough bit will be riding back into the head wind between Topclifde and home but regular changes at the front or an easy chain gang might be an efficient way of minimising the pain!

Re: Saturday 11th Training / Medium ride

Having rode on many a windy day I tend to find that the reality is rarely as bad as a forecast so my view is get out of house, get on the ride and if the conditions are that bad then there is always the option to turn around. This is winter so on a positive note it looks dry and fairly mild. James a...

Re: Saturday 11th Training / Medium ride

Michael Really enjoyed the ride last week so James and me are going to be out again for some more base miles. Weather looks dry but gusty winds from the south west. For the route is it worth doing it in reverse to mix it up?? Albeit that would mean a headwind on the leg back home which could be a dr...

Re: Saturday 4th Jan - medium non drop ride

Yeah, great route, thanks for posting and enjoyed that, as did James. We got home at 11.50am so our peel off was timed to perfection

Hopefully get out for something similarly paced again soon

Re: Saturday 4th Jan - medium non drop ride

I’m up for joining you, sounds an idea start time and winter pace.
One caveat, I need to be back home and out again for lunch at the neighbours for 12noon so apologies now if I have to peel off mid-ride.

See you at 9am Saturday

Cheers Rob

Good shout Si - I’d be on for that pace at the moment. Sadly solo entertaining the boys tomorrow so can’t join the Nova fun

Catch up soon and a merry Christmas

Re: SOCIAL RIDE Saturday 26th October15-16 mph stick together

Good call Mike

Had I not already had plans to head down to London that day to watch the Six Days I would have certainly joined you with James in tow.

Hopefully the ride will be well supported and that next time I’ll be able available to ride out.

Cheers Rob
