TTLeague II software

Post by duncan » Tue Mar 28, 2017 5:40 pm

I have rewritten the TTLeague software, it can be seen here:

http://mullier.me/league/NovaTTLeagueII.php
It will update as I add to it, so may be different on subsequent visits.

The road category can now easily be incorporated (it isn't currently there because there aren't any results) and I can make it look like I want it, in terms of what to show each time you select an event.
Course records are largely replaced with a top ten scoreboard for each course. I may do something about extra categories but it could get out of hand and may instead be handled by manually selecting a category (see below).
It currently just uses the style sheet from the old system and it looks crap. I don't plan on changing it but if anyone knows about web design and wants to make it look good then please contact me.

To Do
Drop down menu to select other categories such as V, V40,V50 etc.
Full League tables for Over all, LTS and category.
Data input system.
Same points awarded for same time.

The data in the database for the women regarding their categories is largely incorrect from before about 2014, as the veteran categories were introduced around then. I have no intention of updating this, someone else can if they want to.
There are one or two records that are not covered in results in the database, such as Greg's 2007 Scarhouse record, I will manually put these in, but if anyone spots an inconsistency then let me know.

For the LTS, there will be no fudging of results if courses are changed (for example the hilly 19 last year would not count and Skelton when it has been reduced to one lap as these re stored as courses in their own right). Doing so would make the database inconsistent. In these circumstances there will be no LTS competition for that event unless it has run on the same changed course within the last three years.

Any suggestion let me know.

Morning Duncan, well done last night for holding off Rob and Julian. How does one access the league results? Can't seem to get them. Regards, Richard.

It's on the link at the top of the page on the main site "TT League Results" or you can go direct and miss off all the clutter.

I haven't written that bit yet. I didn't think anyone was bothered.

League tables including LTS are now implemented. dave Mann is leading the LTS.

It's been a bloody nightmare.
