Saturday 28th Sep. Fast ride 8.30 POW

Post by simonkett » Fri Sep 27, 2013 12:28 pm

Hi all,

I know Ted & Alison are heading out from Knaresborough at 10am, but I need to be back home for 11ish.

Anyone up for a swift 2 and half hours meeting at Prince Of Wales roundabout at 8.30 am? Happy to head out flat & come back hilly, or can just do hilly if preferred?

Post here if you're up for it, or send me a text so we don't miss anyone :)

Simon

Hi Simon, why not, count me in. I don't mind where and a fast pace sounds good ;)
See you at 8:30.

50 miles & a quick coffee stop at Cavendish this morning. Rather misty up at Greenhow.

Great ride Pete - hope you get your gears sorted! (My legs ache!)

A good morning ride; quite magical with the mist clearing riding up the Appletreewick climb. Shame it was soup like on Greenhow though.

Strange set-up at the Cavandish, but a good place to stop all the same, a right cyclists meeting point this morning.

My rear cassette looks a little worn, so I think it was just a case of a new chain slipping on an old cassette - new cassette on order. We can't have gears slipping on hills afterall!

Cheers

Pete
