Three Peaks ride out

Post by peteshep » Sun Sep 22, 2013 8:36 pm

Hi all, I'm intending to ride out and watch the three peaks cyclocross event next weekend should the weather be decent.
Any other interest?
One option is to head via Hawes to Ribblehead, watch there, then on towards Pen y ghent, and watch them come down there, then back over the tops towards either Airton or Arncliffe, cafe stop/s included. Open to other ideas, including driving to watch and walking part way up the course should the weather crap out.
Cheers
Pete

Pete,

I may be up for a one way trip. Definitely heading out with the family and probably head up Pen y Ghent with them dependant on weather. If you head up to Ribblehead, you'll then have to come down the race route to Pen y Ghent, just a thought. Happy to give you a lift if weather bad. Perhaps take a rain check later in the week.

OK Pete, aiming for an early start on cross bike to witness the pain of Simon fell. Then back to PYG. See you over there. Mark
