Sat 18th fast(ish) hilly ride

Post by bruno.m » Wed Jan 15, 2020 1:11 pm

I’m away Sunday so plan to ride Saturday as normal on a ~3hr lumpy route. Want to ride a good pace 18-19mph, but steady fast with regrouping rather than destroy yourself fast is good with me. 8.30am Prologue. I’ll post a route

Bruno, call me a wimp, but I’ll be going out later, once it’s warmed up! Out 1030, Coverdale loop, if you fancy it (nice n steady). 3hr 30ish.

Funny I was thinking Coverdale loop too - clockwise. But I don’t think I can wait until 10.30 unfortunately- need to be back earlier.

A lie in & a sunny Coverdale smash is too good an offer to miss Tom!

Are you sure you can’t be tempted Bruno?

Think I could be tempted by a 10:30 start. See you in the morning.

Ok- let's meet Prologue 1030. We are picking up Jurgen at Drovers Inn cross-roads (doing it anti-clockwise, so we get the wind back from Grassingon). Did a Strava route last night https://www.strava.com/routes/23443613 3hrs 50, 6k feet of climbing.
