Saturday 4th Jan - medium non drop ride

Post by petewatson » Wed Jan 01, 2020 11:49 am

Hoping to try and get this to a regular thing on Saturdays with someone 'leading' , flatter routes initially to make sure everyone can stick together.... I'd like to ride 180 - 220w to get a training benefit but happy to stop or tow people that want to come along or get fitter, no smash on hills / any smash will wait for riders at the top/bottom/junction

With this in mind anyone want to come out Saturday?? Wheels rolling 9am sharp, meet @ Prologue, 3hr loop

Me and the lad will be up for these, but this week we'll hopefully be tackling a couple of sun drenched Munros.

Isn't sun-drenched and Munro an oxymoron.

Keen for this sort of ride Pete as it fits my 2020 training needs perfectly. Just need to check logistics for Saturday morning first and so will confirm yes/no by Friday evening.

I’m up for joining you, sounds an idea start time and winter pace.
One caveat, I need to be back home and out again for lunch at the neighbours for 12noon so apologies now if I have to peel off mid-ride.

See you at 9am Saturday

Cheers Rob

What route are you thinking of Pete?
3hrs is a bit long for me as I have to get back but I could peel off depending on route option.
Cheers

I wish I could do a 'medium' ride at 180 - 220 watts. My FTP is only about 175, probably less at the moment. All a bit relative really.

Hello Pete,

I'd like to join the ride if that's ok.

Thanks - Nick V
