Nova Grupetto - same route just slightly less painful

Hey Folks,

I'm off-the-back of the Fast group at the moment so wondered if there's any appetite for a 'softer' fast ride - still a tough ride, just 2 mph slower, and with some company !!

Same route as the fast crew... meet at Prologue for coffee after.... opportunity to jump on the Nova Train for a while as it passes by....

The idea is simple - start time 20 mins earlier. Sit on the back of the Nova train as it passes by, and once dropped re-group to ride back to Prologue for coffee.

Post if interested - leaving Prologue 8.10am sharp.

Unfortunately I’m still under doctors orders and cannot ride, would be up for the same in a week or two once I get back on if we can drum up some interest.

I like the idea of a steadier ride. Can't make timing for tomorrow though but if anyone fancies 10am for a shorter ride (2 hours), I'd be up for that.

Just by way of reflection: this worked really well today - me and Bruce set off 20 mins ahead of the Nova Train and they caught us three quarters of the way round so we were able to socialise in Prologue afterwards. Same route, same friends, less pain. Definitely worth keeping this format going, given the interest from everyone (above). Regards, Si

I thinks it’s a great idea Simon. The name is perfect. I think we’ll be setting off at 9 as the nights are long so it will work even better. Jk
