Sunday 15th December - Fast ride

It's the annual Christmas ride out lunch this Sunday at Howstean George cafe.
I'm proposing a 50 mile ride to Howstean leaving Prologue at 9am. Route here -

The plan is to arrive at the cafe at 12noon for lunch, then ride back to Harrogate. Total 72 miles. Ave speed likely to be around 18-19mph.
Plenty of options to peel off early, or cut off the top loop for anyone who is short on time.

I’ll join for the ride but might be short on time for the stop at Howstean due to my work Xmas do in the afternoon/evening. Any idea on what time we’d be back in Harrogate?

Should be back 2.30 - 3pm Jacob.
If you’re short of time you could ride straight back from Howstean & be back for 1.30pm.

Good looking route Simon. Would love to be there and I don't think I've missed a Christmas ride out lunch for a very long time! Will be with you in spirit! May have stop signing in to the forum for a while as it's torturing me...
