Si has kindly agreed to head towards Ampleforth. Self-interest declaration: so I can do recon for Ryedale GP that I’m racing in next Sunday (id like to work out where precisely I’ll get dropped :lol: :lol:

after today’s reintroduction to cycling, I’ll be going for a steady solo tomorrow.

I've put this route together which takes in the larger Rydale GP loop other than the bit throuhh Ampleforth College which I don't think will be open to the public tomorrow.

Looks pretty flat to me other than a few pimples around Ampleforth, so I reckon we'll get round it fairly quickly, but suggest we meet 8.50am for a 9am get away.

Hope that looks OK, but we can always modify it tomorrow.
