Sunday 17th - long hilly cafe ride

Post by bruno.m » Wed Mar 13, 2019 11:44 am

Anyone up for a hilly century on Sunday - fairly steady pace, cafe or two. Thinking out west against the wind and faster back. I need to get some longer miles and hills in my legs....

I currently only have clearance for Saturday. Saturday’s weather isn’t looking too clever though...

Yes, Saturday is looking like a bit of a write-off. Sunday looks blowy still but bright.

Out of action for 3 months or more 😱. Fractured pelvis. Frustrated.

I’m only OK for Saturday too.. but not a century I’m afraid
Looking for the usual fun... guess 0830 start could work as it’s lighter in the mornings... back for refuel and to dry out at Prologue for midday-ish

Rich, I don't fancy going out tomorrow looking at the forecast so good luck with that if you venture out! I would be up for a ride on Sunday though Bruno. I can't do all day but would suggest we could do a combination where those that wanted to go out for a shorter ride could peel off. Happy to do put a suggested route on strava before Sunday but would plan to head out west with a meet at Prologue for 8.30?

There’s a cappo group of 8+ heading out for a century on Sunday so I’m gonna go on that since doesn’t look like anyone else up for a long one. It’s heading up North over white horse bank to rusty bike cafe. Pretty flat other than white horse. Leaving 8am squash club. I’m sure anyone who’s keen would be welcome. Greg you could come part way?

I’m in for a dry normal kind of run out at 8.30 Sunday at the shop.

See you there

Jk
