Post by Andrewstringer » Thu Sep 06, 2018 9:07 am

Hi All

Looking forward to the usual fast ride on saturday!

Usual 3 hours fast and furious.

8.30 at the shop? - route to be decided.

post if you're keen. although the weather doesn't look perfect, hopefully we can all catch up after the holidays and stretch our legs.

JK my old wingman, count me in, keen as mustard. Hillier the better for me, I want to give those jockeys a good kicking...….. Not :-)

Probably! I was thinking about a longer (and steadier 😉) ride but not sure it’s gonna happen...

Ok virgin. You’re the route master. Maybe not so flat but with a mix for everyone? A nice rolling route would be just right.

I’ll be there. Looking forward to it. It feels like ages since my last club ride. 🙂

Route suggestion - https://www.strava.com/routes/15359820

Out slightly east, loop to Borobridge, Ripon, Laverton, Pateley, Greenhow (why not?!) down Duck St, left to Darley, Hampsthwaite and back for a well earned coffee and /or recovery shake

Can be modified if required - BBC forecast has worsened, but hey ho

Looks a great route (1st half I mean) Richard. Unfortunately I need to be in Ripon for 0830 so I may do the route to Ripon but start earlier to arrive there in time.
25m to Ripon so I’ll prob start from Norwood Edge at 0650, Prologue 0715, Ripon about 0830, do my stuff and continue route. May see you boys on route after Ripon.

If that appeals to anyone not doing the 0830, let me know.
