Saturday 21st Fast
Can't make Sunday unfortunately, so heading out Saturday morning instead.
8.15am start at prologue, will post a route shortly.
Jurgen, Si K and Si T coming so far...
Amy other takers?
Will have to be back by 11.15, so should be a good 3 hour blast. Cheers.

Re: Saturday 21st Fast
Would be interested there Mantis. Keen to see route so I can plan where I can exit gracefully..... hopefully not in first 2 miles.

Yes - see you 8.15 looking forward to it.
Re: Saturday 21st Fast
I’d love to, as ever, but family plans probably mean not this time.
Re: Saturday 21st Fast
Gents,
Here is the route - https://www.strava.com/routes/14441521
The first 25 miles are relatively flat, the last 25 are not
The idea is to ride out as a group at a sensible pace to West Tanfield. After that it gets hilly & no doubt some people will want to stretch their legs.
Plenty off options to shorten the ride or go flatter for those that want to.
Meet back at Prologue for those that can make oi circa 11.15am
See you all in the morning.
Simon

Re: Saturday 21st Fast
May I translate:
The first 25 miles are relatively flat - (undulating and done rapidly)
the last 25 are not (think world of pain and suffering)
The idea is to ride out as a group (hanging on for dear life) at a sensible pace (smashfest - BMW having eaten 3 shredded wheat pace) to West Tanfield. After that it gets hilly & no doubt some people will want to stretch (ripped off) their legs.
Plenty off options to shorten the ride or go flatter for those that want to. (Kindly informing those who get dropped not all is lost).
