We are, as usual, going to need some help at the start of the Nova Reliability Trial (4th February) - help with signing on and taking money, also help in splitting the 'many' riders into smaller groups to set off. Donations of cakes for the finish at Norwood Village Hall would be appreciated.

We have had very little response to my call for help at the Reliability Trial on 4th February. We need 2 more to help with signing-on/taking money and 1 more to help get people into small groups for setting off. You will still get a ride but will go off in 1 of the later groups when the rush is over.

Just to put everyone in the picture - there is a change of route for the Nova Reliability ride due to the bridge at Ripon Racecourse completely closed for roadworks for 8 weeks. The route will go to Boroughbridge then left thro' Roecliffe to Bishop Monkton, left and second right to Burton Leonard and thro' village and up hill to A61, left down hill and first right to Markington. Follow road thro the Bishop Thornton (where Drovers p/h used to be) then follow normal route back to finish at Norwood Village Hall. Sorry you're going to have to miss your favourite bit near Fountains Abbey but at least your bikes may stay a little cleaner. Hopefully back to normal in 2019.

We had a record 191 riders start the event yesterday (32 of the riders were Nova members) - what a turnout!!
We too would like to say a big thankyou to all the helpers at the start and finish of the event - we couldn't put on an event that big without your help.
I want to add a big thank you to Beverley Holgate, Wendy Considine, Emma Stringer, the YCF girls and myself for the amazing selection of home made cakes and sandwiches (they all got eaten)
