Jez, there has been talk of riding out, doing the route round to Leeds/Thorner and peeling off back to Harrogate. Would probably mean an 8am set off latest. Or.... we could organise a separate ride from Prologue @ 8.45am in the usual way?
What's the consensus?

All being well with the weather I will be doing this too, but heading across to the start from the centre of Leeds, but don't expect any fireworks from me this early in the season!

I'll do a club ride (or a ride similar to the hilly ride I did today on my own) but I'm not doing the RR.

I'll be there to ride to leeds or drive to do the whole thing or just go on a separate route. Happy to go with the majority.

Just checked the website for the RR - sign on/set off for the 50 mile route is 8.30 to 9.45 am. Route planning to the start, the shortest option running along side the A1 is 22 miles and a more scenic route via Boston Spa and Tadcaster is 24 miles. Looking like a 100 mile day to do the whole RR route and home. Would need to leave Harrogate at around 8.15am at the latest for an 1hr 15min ride and a 9.30am start

Keen to get out but equally I could do without an early start (my eldest has a pal staying for a sleep over) so a more local club run is selfishly starting to look a more appealing option. I'll take a view on what I'm doing later

I would ride out though peel off after Leeds to get back to Harrogate for a reasonable time. Rode out did the ride rode back a couple years ago and just touched over 100 mile so don't fancy that. I don't mind a local club ride instead though

Still keen to ride RR as I need a leg stretcher ahead of the home game next week!
I will ride out leaving Woodlands @ 8am aiming to get to Squires by 9:15 to hopefully get in the mix a bit with the main groups heading off and test the legs. Peel off at Wike (Dexter pub) and try to maintain a steady tap back home.
If anyone would like to join me just let me know. Otherwise have a good club ride all!

Not my favourite RR I must admit and a bit of a hike to get there so I'll probably stay local. I'd be more interested in a local one.
