Pennypot circuits/Midweek rides

Post by frosty » Wed Feb 15, 2012 1:07 pm

In my deference to the 14th of February I did some intervals round the pennypot circuit last night - 8 degrees, quiet roads, plenty of light from exposure diablo.. 'orrible wind..

Keen to do this on a regular basis - any interest for some night ride training on Tues/Thurs? I only chose pennypot as it's quiet and I could bring some structure to it.

I know there is a few committed to turbo/wattbike , but would be a good opportunity to practise chaingang etc for those racing this year?

Great idea, been waiting for someone to crank it up! Shall we start next Tuesday? 18:45 opposite the army barracks (just where there is a road which turns right?) We could say 3 laps of bit and bit and a cheeky push up almscliffe?

I plan on being there, just need to a bit of sorting out RE: another broken back wheel spoke! Also got a sore throat, but that should be gone by tuesday.

6.45 spot on. Might be pushing it to get 3 laps in, I did 2 laps plus riding out and was about 1.30, but it depends on how long people want to ride for.

Tuesday's not good for me. The boy's karate night and dan grade test looms.
