Any other takers for the Rumble 2?? I've seen Simon K, Dave M, John T and my names on the entry list - anyone else joining us? Cheers, Paul.

Tempted by the Ryedale Rumble now that i had a crack at the Bronte sportive ride with BIGM's last Sunday. First REAL ride for over 4 months and it soon became apparent that i was going to need BIGM's a##e to deflect all the wind/rain to help me round. 21 hills, felt more like 210 by the end!? apologies to Daryl who was with us but after about 60miles my legs went bigtime, granny ring thereafter, then 2 punctures meant we had to dodge the last 8mile and cut our losses and head back to the finish for beef burgers that went down without a single gulp?! need more miles in the legs before the ryedale but back on the bike and even though i ended up completely dead on sunday, the leg burn i still feel is fantastic!? hopefully out on a few club runs soon once i can manage 50miles without stopping!

I'm a bit past Rumble 1 now Tony. You may be right about the others. ;)

Lantern Rouge you should be careful what you say on this forum, particularly when the result sheets for a number of recent sportives have your name followed by DNF

Anybody want to ride the Rumble 2 on Sunday, let me know.
I'm afraid i'm going to have to pull out. Usual thing, you might just have to pretend to be me (so not open to Tony - I want a good time thank you).

Cheers, Dave.

Not only are folks entering the "Whimple" (Rumble 2) they are bailing out to top up their Sun Tans! "Club's going to the Dogs!"
