Ride Sat 5th Nov

Post by Mantis » Wed Nov 02, 2011 1:24 pm

Simon & I can't make the club run this Sunday unfortunately, but we are going out Saturday morning if anyone wants to join us - meet 8.30am POW roundabout for a circa 60 mile ride. Aiming to be back in Harrogate for 12ish. Cheers, Paul.

I don't mind doing that instead if that is the consensus. I need another hilly ride before the Chemo I think.

This works better for me too and I need another lung buster/leg beater before the Chemo. My legs were still a bit soar at my bike fit yesterday with the fitter telling me my legs were tight.

I'll be out on Saturday and will try and hang on, sounds to me like there is a bit of training going on with you boys just now.

I'm claiming Big Mike's wheel for shelter.

Also thinking another ride on the Sunday too, open to ideas.

I don't want to undermine the club run in any way, it's just that I've got other commitments on Sunday that I can't get out of & need a ride this weekend. Maybe start a thread for the the Sunday club run? There are usually a good few people who turn up without posting anything.

Keen guys and just checked an early weather forecast, cloudy but ok. the further west we go, the better. I will be riding summer bike, final prep for Chemo and all!

Can we try to make a prompt 08:30 start, i absolutley have to be back at home in knaresborough for 12pm as i have the old wedding dinner tasting at rudding at 12:30 and cant be late!

BM

PS, Frosty, my back wheel is always open to you..... will make a nice change not to be the back man for once :-)
