Please remember your behaviour on the bike reflects on the club, even if other road users don't share the same courtesy to you.

Hi all,

Just checking plans for Monday bank holiday ride. I think there is a large group forming and rumour has it the the mighty Tom denwood is venturing out!! Can't wait to see him upagianst the Guv! Andy G and I absolutely have to be wrapped up by 12pm latest. Can I suggest an 0830 start at prologue.

Please post if you're in, so we know who to wait for, and let me know if 0830 works

Mike, I'm in - and 830 sounds good..... I'm off out to the garage to polish the Venge and get that aero sheen in preparation! Word on the street is someones bought a sexy pair of Zipp 880s from the Specialised store.... will they be making an appearance?! Tom

Ha ha- I'm almost wetting myself with excitement- just been out to practice a few hills- you know, working out good places to attack etc.... hiding jet packs behind bushes. That sort of thing!

Looking fwd to hearing all about your gentle spin last wkend...!!!

Only one place I will be attacking, from the bottom, all out, mantis style attack!!! Keen. I want to be crawling by the time we get back! Happy to agree on morning but thinking a route with something for everyone. Gate, beckwith, reverse almsclife, Timble, otley hill then turn right and drop down onto otley/Isley lane, all the way along then fountains abbey road, main road all to way burnsall then appletreewick, stumprcross, duck street and then sprint down penny pot! Flats, undulating and hills. Perfect. Can call it Tom though.

I was jesting, my legs are tired from our little spin out yesterday and the day before so I'm opting for a fry up and a picnic with the family....may see out during the week...have a cracker it looks a good day, rich.
