A weekend full of excitement, entertainment and of course, cycling!
Pennine Events and Harrogate Borough Council are set to rekindle the passion and excitement of the first stage of last year’s Tour de France Grand Départ, with a weekend of cycling celebration (19-21 June). The highlight of the event will be a number of criterium races, which will take place on Saturday 20th June and pit the best riders in the country against each other.
The historic spa town will once again become centre stage to thrilling speed, as male and female elite cyclists compete on a one mile closed circuit around the town centre – starting and finishing alongside the Stray in exactly the same spot as the finish line for stage one of last year’s Tour de France.
With 10,000 spectators predicted, the criterium races are set to be fast, furious, exciting and colourful – making it a great spectator event that you’ll want to be part of!
So if you fancy the challenge of taking on some of the country’s best cyclists, on a course which is sure to test your skills and endurance to the full, then please register by clicking here.
