Week in Pictures & Racing Round Up

This week’s cycling pictures come via Spain – Simon & Greg Ketteringham and Mike Worden were cycling pro-team spotting again – Cofidis and Lotto Jumbo (to add to CCC-Sprandi-Polkowice last week).

One of the most picturesque photos on the Harrogate Nova Strava Club this week came from Tim Evans who found a lovely puddle whilst out on his mountain bike near Knaresborough.

Apparently is was deeper than it looked.

Racing Round Up

Round 8 (the final round of the Yorkshire Cyclo-Cross Association winter series was held as Leconfield, East Yorkshire on Sunday.

In the Youth/Novice race, Joe Sarmiento finished as 8th placed under-14; Louis Mason was 10th placed under-16.  Neil McLaughlin, in a return to racing, was 10th in the Novice race.

In the senior race, Richard Hamilton placed 14th Vet-40; Ted Sarmiento was a DNF.

In the veteran/women’s race, Nick Mason claimed 5th Vet-50, Tim Evans placed 16th Vet-50.  Mike Bowman ended the series with second placed Vet-60 and Kirstie Hamilton claimed 3rd place senior woman.

Final series standings were not available at the time of posting.
